Some couples marry where the map runs out. Beenum and Amar chose a destination wedding in Thailand — Sofitel Krabi, where limestone islands rise out of the Andaman Sea and the palms lean toward the water. A beach wedding in Thailand is an unhurried kind of grand: a small, sunlit civil ceremony, family who crossed the world, and a country that turns a wedding day into a holiday you never want to end. We were there for all of it — quietly, the way we always are.
The place. Krabi first — the sea arches and karst islands, and a Thai sala pavilion at the resort, all steep roofs and old wood. This is why couples search a destination first and a date second — you marry the setting as much as the day. As a Krabi wedding photographer, our job is restraint: let the place breathe, and wait for the people to fill it.

The setting. Then the day is built by hand — a floral arch going up under the palms, paper lanterns and baby’s breath, Beenum’s mehendi against a tea-length dress. The small, true things before anything begins.

Before the vows. Beenum and her party cross the lawn in blush; the family gather, fans against the heat; Amar waits in the light. Faces no one arranged — the documentary heart of a day like this.

The ceremony. Under a floral arch by the sea, Beenum and Amar married — the walk down the aisle, the ring, the vows read from an open book, the kiss. Simple, sunlit, and entirely theirs. We don’t stage these moments, we catch them.

We don’t pose your wedding. We feel it.
The celebration. And then the day lets go — a saxophone, a recessional through cheering friends, bouquets in the air. A destination wedding knows how to end: loud, close, and completely theirs. That is what a beach wedding in Thailand can be. If you’re dreaming of a destination wedding in Krabi, we would love to photograph it, the way it actually happens.
